Laura Gravestock

Myself and the boyfriend went to the Cockpit Arts Christmas open studio a few months ago. Based in Holborn, Cockpit Yard is home to the working studios of some amazingly talented people & the open day was a wonderful opportunity to go and nose around and buy some gifts directly from them!
The Summer 2013 open studio dates have just been released - Holborn 7 - 9 June & Deptford 14 - 16 June, put it in your diaries, its well worth the visit!

One person in particular really caught my eye and that was Laura Gravestock and her beauuutiful hand made jewellery. Check out her new electrifying Struck collection, it's lush... & with Valentines day coming up something from her Written collection would be the perfect gift! I love the single & multi heart rings - so cute & dainty.

I was lucky enough to get treated to my very own commissioned Carla necklace from the boyfriend for my birthday :) ... love it SO much, its so beautifully made!  I can NEVER get stuff with my name on, so it makes it super special that it's been made just for me!

Love a bit of shiny!

I came across Astley Clarke a little too late this year, just after my birthday, with another 11 months to go until the next gift... it's been hard, but only 130 days to go til Christmas people! (sorry)

I just LOVE their collection, all shiny and pretty and tonnes of different gem stones in so many different colours. Their stacking rings are my absolute fave & most of them are pretty affordable, but then you have to go and buy enough to stack and the price goes up and up and up! You can have hours of fun on their website putting your own little collection together though.

I'm really wanting a Garnet ring at the moment, it's my birth stone & I always used to hate it, but i've slowly come round to the idea and now I need one in my life.

This one from the stacking rings collection I think is super pretty & at only £65 is a definite contender onto this years Christmas list!

Kate Spade New York - Watch lust

I recently discovered Kate Spade New York... not quite sure how I went so long without it coming to my attention, mainly because they have the most beautiful collection of watches EVER. I need one.

I've been looking for a new watch for a while now and I think one of these may just be the one, I'm particularly in love with the bangle watches and the Gramercy range. They really are lovely.

Like the majority of the sites I find and fall in love with they're US based which means when ordering off Nordstrom you're looking at an extra £30-£40 postage & packaging after the shipping & handling & tax & vat & all the other costs that they like to add on to things when you're shipping to the UK - But cheaper than flying to NY!

Here's a selection of my faves!

1. Carousel Bangle Watch in many a funky colour - £167.70
2. Gramercy Grand Bracelet Watch - £150.90
3. Metro Leather Strap Watch - £117.39
All on Nordstrom
